Ideas for Christmas

I've been racking my brains for something that i can make for friends etc for christmas. The main criteria was that it had to be inexpensive. Eventually i wandered into poundstretchers and found these really cute tins that have a scented vanilla candle inside - perfect :D

Ssssh....Birthday Pressies

Finished the canvas for Toni's birthday today - another job off the list :D. I used Basic Grey, Skate Shoppe - i love these papers. Hope she likes it :D

Feeling Humbled..

Just when i was really doubting myself something comes along to cheer me up.

Frustrating Life....

How come life is so frustrating?

It took me so long to get back into being creative and i jumped for joy when a little bit of my mojo returned - so how come i still feel so frustrated!

I look at different things around the "www" and thing "i want to be as good as that" - so why aren't i :(

I just can't seem to find my "style" so to speak. I'm never entirely happy with anything that i create and i just can't seem to "get it!"

Oh well, i wonder how many other people feel like that?, do you think that Elsie Flannigan ever has a bad day (i think not somehow :) )

Magic Mojo

I managed to create a lo for a challenge that i've entered into and i have to admit that it's my favourite so far - i just love it :D

It was a complete mission making Patchey sit long enough for me to put the flower between her paws without her eating it but we just about made it.

Other than that things are ticking along ok at the minute, work is fine, home is fine - everything is fine :D

Just one offering from me today. I've been trying to complete the groundwork for a couple of cj's that im in but they are taking me ages! I'll try and take some piccies tomorrow as it's some ungodly time of the night now. Did manage to finish my fridge magnet though - wow! how can something so little cause so much bother . Anyway, tis done now and thats another thing off the ever expanding list

Pure Evil!

The world is just full of evil people - so evil that it physically makes my stomach turn. What is up with these people, do they get a kick from causing such hurt and upset...why?

Why would you deliberately try to hurt something or someone for no reason at all - i just don't get it! :(

I guess if i knew the answer to the why! question then i could resolve most of the problems in the world.

In the meantime i hope all those people in the world get their just deserts one day!

Nothing really to tell again....Dont i just lead such an exciting life - NOT! It's nearly Friday again which is a good thing, i can't wait to have a lie in on saturday morning (dog permitting LOL) Here's the picture of this weeks challenge that i did. It turned out so totally different than i imagined.

Monday Feeling

Nothing much more to say other than that "it's Monday" nuff said i reckon.... I have finished my paperbag though thank god!

Well bugger me....

Thats all i can say about it actually "well bugger me!". How is it that one thing can really tip you over the edge... I read a blog tonight from someone that i know that moved me to the point of complete tears, it was a beautiful blog. The trouble is, and i know this is just going to sound completely awful and horrid, but this person i've had a bit of a nervousness around since the whole London malaky! it's a fear that is completely irrational and unexplainable as this person has done nothing to me but.... Anyhow, i read this blog and it made me see this person is such a completely different light - she should win an award for that blog i reckon! [i dont know if this person reads my blog but if she does and she's recognises it i hope she wont be offended at all. Let's just say that i have "issues"

Anyway, onto more cheerful things. Today we built a bridge down at the fields where we walk Patchey. With the onslaught of winter we just couldnt get across so we decided to build a bridge! The bridge is fabby but the boys thought they were the "bees knees" - yeah right LOL, and Patchey got into a complete stinking mess - photos below LOL



Ooops forgot something! - i managed a lo today for a swap that im in - i hope they like it, i found the "subject" quite tricky LOL

Isn't life just funny funny funny......

Isnt it really funny how a "situation" can have such bizarre consequences....

How two sets of people can have 2 completely different perspectives on what is right and what is wrong, how people you thought were friends turned out to only be "acquaintences" (my dad was right about that one as much as it galls me to admit it!)

Oh well, regardless of what has happened and what may lie in the future i have stood up for what i believed is right and no-one could ever shoot me for that. I have principals of what i perceive is acceptable and what is not....

Still such a shame though :(

On a brighter note, it is thursday and nearly the weekend whoooo hoooooooo

What a day..... Can't go into it really but i had such an awful day yesterday, i feel so sad :(. Just when you think you know someone, you find out you really didn't know them at all.

Had a really bad day with Dad yesterday as well which really didnt help. Poor thing, when did he get so old - i didnt even notice :( On a brighter note, i decided to re-do my submission to the Antartica challenge. I wasn't very happy with the first one so thought i'd have a go at something a little less tradition. I'm quite pleased with the outcome.

It's been a quiet weekend all in all - Dad is home from hospital so we're just keeping a close eye on him. I made this wall hanging for mel - oh, the princess of pink:D, i've never met anyone quite so barking mad on the colour pink hehe.

Had an absolutely awful couple of days - i'm just too tired to go into it. It involves Dad and hospital which is nothing new :(
Anyway, on a brighter note i managed to get a lo done for a challenge. I tried to scan and stitch this time but didnt get it quite right - oh well, must practise that a bit more i think :D

Okay, lets get this "blog" thing started then.

Well, it's been a long time since i've had any mojo - it just upped and left one day and it's taken forever to come back again.

Thanks to my bestest buddy Mel she persuaded me to have a go at scrapbooking and voila, away we go :)

Now i've found scrapbooking and i can feel that "thing" coming back again - you know, when you kind of get excited at the prospect of messing around with papers, glue & ribbons....hopefully soon i'll be back on track and find my creative spirit again.

Here's a couple of my attemps at scrapbooking - there's definately room for improvement but its not bad for the first few attempts.
